Augers

The design features 3 helical flues offset by 120 degrees which results in improved drilling performance and reduced tool wear.

The heavy duty flues also feature a hardox or bisalloy spine which further stiffens the structure and protects the flue edges from wear. It also serves as a wear indicator.

The heavy duty cutting tips are mounted on a carrier plate with pre-fabricated pockets which allow for correct postitioning of tips on individual lapels of the flues. This guarantees correct tip positioning for maximum drilling performance and minimum wear.
